Memorials

A memorial gift is a beautiful way to honor the memory of your loved one after they have passed. Many of our families reach out asking how they can make a difference by requesting donations go to their loved one’s Benedictine home after they have passed.

If you wish to have Benedictine Foundation receive donations “in lieu of flowers” to honor your loved one, please consider adding the following statement to the end of their obituary:

“In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of                                     to [insert Benedictine organization name and address from list of our communities below].”

Honorariums

An honorarium is a meaningful way to recognize a special person in your life, appreciate an outstanding caregiver or commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, retirement or holiday.

Asking your friends and loved ones to make a tax-deductible donation in your honor to Benedictine Foundation “in lieu of gifts” for your birthday, wedding or other special occasion is another way you can help the residents at your local Benedictine Living Community.

Just send them to our DONATION PAGE where they can select a specific community and project, as well as including your name and address. They receive the tax receipt, you receive a card in the mail letting you know a gift was made in your honor.
