Meet the MNSWAP president
Stacie Oakland is Benedictine Living Community-Duluth’s wellness and volunteer director. She has been working at Benedictine Duluth for 12 years. Stacie also serves a larger role in the activity professional world and has been the Minnesota Statewide Activity Professionals (MNSWAP) President for four Years! With the COVID Pandemic, she has graciously stayed as president for an extended amount of time. Stacie has also served six years as the Region 2 Representative.
Stacie shared, “I have been an Activity Director for 34 years. I have worked in Duluth, Grand Marais, and Cook, as an activity director. I have been involved in MNSWAP for 34years and it has been a rewarding experience. If you ever have any questions, you can email or call me. The MNSWAP’s Mission: to provide a source of mutual support and sharing of ideas for all persons in the field of activity programming. To promote and offer educational opportunities that specifically address the Activity Professional and the needs of the people they serve, to work with other professional groups, regulatory agencies and provider representatives to insure the delivery of activity services in a coordinated, client-oriented atmosphere.
