Benedictine Living Community-Crookston Leads in Staff Longevity
Together, four associates at Benedictine Living Community-Crookston have served Crookston-area seniors for more than 170 years! What’s more, 33% of Benedictine Crookston’s associates have been employed for more than 10 years and 12% for more than 20 years! This longevity is truly remarkable, given that 47% of Minnesota long-term caregivers have changed jobs in the past five years an average of two times.*
Benedictine Crookston recognizes the commitment of our associates and celebrates an exceptional group of four who have served for over 40 years!

Boonsong Sterger joined the dietary department 47 years ago.
Vicky Peck, LPN, MDS coordinator, is a 42-year veteran.
Teresa Persson, culinary, has been with Benedictine Crookston for 40 years.
Jody Gudvangen began as a nurse aide 42 years ago.
“Day in and out I am so very thankful for the talented, caring commitment of our Benedictine team … and then to consider the years of beautiful service these four standouts have given to so many; it just brings me joy. Thank you, ladies, for holding up our Mission with compassion and grace!” said Executive Director Lindsey Erdman.
