We’ve developed an active, engaging atmosphere to support residents in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or other dementias or disease. Our dementia-certified staff provides activity-based interaction as well as individual care, encouraging residents to live at the highest level of independence while still ensuring safety and comfort.
We Understand
Nazareth Living Center has served residents with dementia since 1997. We have the experience our residents and families rely on to provide person-centered care. Our memory care community is housed in a safe, secure state of the art building where we focus on an individual’s unique needs. Our new memory care neighborhood is bright, friendly and a fantastic place for our residents. We have a beautiful enclosed outdoor patio where residents walk, visit and even plant flowers and vegetables in our community garden.
A Quality of Life Solution
A creative, activity based, resident-centered program has been developed for persons in early stages of dementia who might need cuing, reassurance, and assistance with activities of daily living. Residents are assisted in maintaining the highest level of independence in the least restrictive environment 24 hours a day.
The program is designed to encourage maximal participation in activities of daily living and to foster a sense of community in an intimate faith based setting. Staff also provides round-the-clock presence and supervision to ensure resident safety.

Engaging and stimulating activities for memory care
The St Joseph Memory Care Community program includes creative therapeutic and diversionary activities seven days per week. Outings and group activities within the community provide cognitive, physical, recreational, spiritual and sensory stimulation. Family members of residents are always welcome and encouraged to participate in activities. Residents also enjoy a beautiful, enclosed courtyard so residents can enjoy the outdoors in a safe, secure environment.
Activities are scheduled at least four times a day to keep residents stimulated and engaged. Family involvement is encouraged.
We have music therapy for our residents as research shows that music assists the residents with cognitive and social skills and reduces occurrences of depression.

I attended some meetings before I decided to reside at Nazareth Living Center. The staff are very attentive to my needs. If I have any questions that need to be answered they are willing to answer those questions for me. Nazareth Living Center also offers great leisure activities and you have the choice if you want to participate in them or not. I am very comfortable at Nazareth Living Center.
