Our Veteran Promise

Benedictine Living Community-Crookston’s Veteran Promise is a program created to show our dedication to the veterans who have served our country. We are one of the few care centers in northwest Minnesota contracted with the Veteran’s Administration to provide skilled nursing care and memory care to qualifying veterans. Our on-going assistance includes:

  • Eligibility questions answered by a Veteran’s Administration representative
  • Assistance with reporting any major life changes that can affect eligibility
  • Regular meetings with a Veteran’s Administration representative
  • Opportunities to socialize with other veterans
  • Convenient access to a full continuum of care:
  • Long-term skilled nursing care
  • Short-term care and rehabilitation
  • Outpatient rehabilitation
  • Memory care
  • Bariatric services
  • End-of-life care
  • Caregiver relief services

What are the advantages?

Once the Veteran’s Administration has determined that you meet the qualifying military service benefit criteria for our Veteran Promise, you can receive care and services. Your plan of care is individualized to your needs and directed by your primary health care provider. The Benedictine Villa St. Vincent care team includes RN’s, LPN’s, trained medical aides, rehabilitation specialists, spiritual care providers, activities and enrichment staff, social workers and more. Best of all, you are close to home.
