Andy Opsahl

Vice President, Business Development

Andy Opsahl serves Benedictine as vice president, business development, and is responsible for new business development, strategic repositionings, system growth strategy, and real estate development activity.

Prior to his current position, Opsahl served in multiple sales roles, as a community administrator, and then Benedictine as vice president of operations for 10 long-term care campuses in greater Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. In his time with Benedictine, Opsahl has overseen multiple turnarounds, repositionings, new business creations, and acquisitions.

He is a member of LeadingAge, the Urban Land Institute, and the Turnaround Management Association.

Opsahl has a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Dakota State university, and a Turnaround Analyst Certification from the Turnaround Management Association.
