Celebrate Oktoberfest in St. Peter With Beer, Brats and Polka Music

Festive Oktoberfest display with traditional food, music, and decorations celebrating community spirit.

Some traditions have a way of bringing people together. The first notes of a polka. A warm pretzel. The unmistakable smell of sausage. A cold beer shared with someone who makes you laugh.

On Oct. 8, older adults from St. Peter, Mankato and surrounding communities can enjoy those Oktoberfest favorites close to home at Benedictine Court in St. Peter.

Oktoberfest at Benedictine Court

Oktoberfest will be held Thursday, Oct. 8 from 1:30–3:30 p.m. at Benedictine Court, 1906 Sunrise Dr. in St. Peter, Minnesota. Bring a spouse, friend or family member and spend the afternoon enjoying German-inspired food, music and a little friendly competition.

There will be plenty to sample and do:

  • Try the beer tasting and raise a glass to Oktoberfest.
  • Fill your plate with sausage, pretzels, popcorn and snacks from the cheese fountain.
  • Listen to polka music and test your skills at authentic German games.
  • Enter to win an Oktoberfest-themed gift basket.

Who Would You Bring to Oktoberfest? You probably already know. The friend who would never turn down a good pretzel. The neighbor who loves a little competition. The family member who would happily meet you for a beer.
