Becky Urbanski, Ed.D., senior vice president, mission integration and marketing, announces retirement
Becky Urbanski, senior vice president for mission integration and marketing at Benedictine plans to retire from her position on July 1, 2021.
During her time at Benedictine, Dr. Urbanski has contributed in many ways to the success and growth of the organization. She served as resident brand expert – leading the 2003 initiative to move Benedictine from a collection of individual brands to Benedictine’s ambitious recent effort involving a name and brand architecture change. Dr. Urbanski also led the effort to create some of the organization’s most unique and recognizable resources including the Catholic and Benedictine Identity: Distinguishing Characteristics of the Benedictine Health System and the Governance Formation program that serves as the foundation for formation education across the ministries of our sponsor, the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery, Duluth, Minn. For many years, Dr. Urbanski has represented Benedictine at the national level for organizations such as Catholic Health Association where she has served on two committees, written numerous articles for Health Progress magazine and provided many presentations on long-term care mission integration.
Benedictine will begin an executive search for a new leader for its mission integration and marketing departments in the upcoming weeks.
