11 Benedictine Living Communities named High Performing by U.S. News & World Report

Eleven Benedictine Living Communities have been recognized as high performing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care by U.S. News & World Report in its 2026 Best Nursing Homes report.
The 2026 Best Nursing Homes ratings evaluated Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes, meaning those approved to accept Medicare and Medicaid as payment for care. Nursing homes did not apply for consideration or provide data to U.S. News.
All data used in the ratings came from publicly available sources. Analyses for short- and long-term care ratings were based on time intervals that varied by component measured.
The short-term rehabilitation rating reflects U.S. News’ assessment of 17 quality measures, including nurse staffing, patient outcomes, facility deficiencies and processes of care, such as appropriate use of certain medications. Seven Benedictine communities earned high-performing status for short-term rehabilitation. They are:
- Benedictine Living Community-Duluth, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-Cold Spring, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-New Brighton, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-Regina, Hastings, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-Rochester Madonna Towers, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-St. Joseph, MO
- Cerenity Senior Care – White Bear Lake, MN
The long-term care rating is based on U.S. News’ assessment of 17 quality measures focusing on nurse staffing, patient outcomes and turnover of ownership and staff. Seven Benedictine communities were ranked as high performing for long-term care. They include:
- Benedictine Living Community-Bismarck, ND
- Benedictine Living Community-Dickinson, ND
- Benedictine Living Community-La Crosse, WI
- Benedictine Living Community-New Brighton, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-Rochester Madonna Towers, MN
- Benedictine Living Community-Shakopee St. Gertrude’s, MN
- Cerenity Senior Care – White Bear Lake, MN
