A Flight to Remember: Veteran Resident Honored in Washington, D.C.
Earlier this week, Ron, a resident at our community, experienced a moment he’ll never forget. As part of an Honor Flight from Minneapolis to Washington, D.C., Ron joined fellow veterans in visiting the war memorials that honor their service and sacrifice.
This flight was made even more meaningful when Ron discovered that one of the pilots was his grandson, Mick. The emotional moment was captured on camera by WCCO & CBS News Minnesota, sharing Ron’s powerful story with the entire community.
