2025 Benedictine Spirit Award-Internal Community Focus

Honoring innovation that enriches lives!

The Benedictine Spirit Award – Internal Community Focus recognizes creative initiatives that uplift residents, tenants and associates, serving as a living witness to God’s love.

For 2025, four Benedictine Communities were honored for their implementation of Eldergrow, a nationally recognized therapeutic gardening program. Through Eldergrow, residents cultivate and care for indoor gardens, engaging in meaningful activity that nurtures both body and spirit.

The 2025 Benedictine Spirit Award-Internal Community Focus was presented to Benedictine Living Community-Rochester Madonna Towers, Cerenity Senior Care-Humboldt, and Cerenity Senior Care-Marian of Saint Paul in Minnesota and Villa St. Benedict, Lisle, Illinois, for bringing this enriching program to life.
