2025 Benedictine Distinguished Leader Award

Distinguished Leaders who share their time, wisdom, experience and unique leadership skills!
The Benedictine Distinguished Leader Award honors individuals whose leadership has profoundly shaped our ministry and mission.
The 2025 Distinguished Leader Award recognizes Kevin Greff, whose 25-year career with Benedictine reflects a deep commitment to the Benedictine Core Values. Kevin began his journey in 1990 as assistant administrator and nursing center administrator at St. Mary’s Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. In 1992, he became administrator of St. Benedict’s Health Center, now Benedictine Living Community–Dickinson.
By 1996, Kevin was named vice president of operations for the Benedictine West Region, overseeing nine long-term care and housing communities across North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota. Under his leadership, the region expanded to include assisted living and memory care in six communities and the construction of Benedictine Living Community–Bismarck.
Kevin championed quality and mission integration, with every community under his leadership earning recognition from the American Health Care Association’s National Quality Awards. He also contributed to the field through professional service, including roles with the American College of Health Care Administrators, North Dakota Catholic Conference, Northland Healthcare Alliance and Northland PACE.
A passionate supporter of philanthropy, Kevin chaired the inaugural We Believe! associate giving campaign and continues to serve on the Benedictine Foundation Board of Directors, including its Finance and Investment Committee, and the Benedictine Living Community-Bismarck Foundation Advisory Board.
Kevin’s legacy is one of visionary leadership, faithful service and enduring impact. Benedictine is grateful for his many contributions.
