Benedictine acquires River Oaks of Anoka

On July 1, 2022, Lang Nelson Associates transferred ownership of their senior living community, River Oaks of Anoka, to Benedictine.

River Oaks of Anoka, 910 Western Street, Anoka, Minn., offers independent and assisted living with eight care suites, four studio apartments, 54 one bedroom apartments; 18 two bedroom apartments, and eight two-bedroom deluxe units.

“With Lang Nelson being one of the most awarded providers of apartment homes in the Twin Cities, we are thrilled that they chose to transfer ownership of River Oaks of Anoka to Benedictine,” said Jerry Carley, Benedictine president/CEO. “We believe that River Oaks has a bright future and an important role to play in serving the Anoka area.”

Residents currently living at River Oaks of Anoka will see little change, as the current employees have been retained by Benedictine. Kyle Lewis, the current executive director, will continue in his role leading the community.

River Oaks will now be known as Benedictine Living Community-Anoka with access to the expertise and resources of Benedictine.
