Laurie M. Hennen

Laurie Hennen serves Benedictine as senior vice president, foundation and chief philanthropy officer and is responsible for the overall strategy and leadership of philanthropy and fundraising for the Benedictine Foundation and its associate foundations.

Prior to joining Benedictine in 2020, Hennen held leadership positions with Allina Health Philanthropy, including Courage Kenny Foundation, Penny George Institute Foundation and Hospice Foundation as well as overseeing fundraising five regional hospital foundations. She also served as director of advancement at the University of Minnesota’s College of Biological Sciences.

Hennen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University, a Mini MBA for Leading Growing Companies from the University of St. Thomas as well as advanced certificates in Sales, Fundraising and High Performance Corporate Leadership. She has held various community and industry boards and volunteer positions.
