Advent Reflection Week 3

For the third week of Advent, Sister Joan Marie Stelman, OSB, senior vice president, Mission Integration, shares her thoughts, “Advent is a time of waiting and darkness. We long for light and peace, especially faced with the problems in our world, but we must not let this blind us to the riches that surround us in the darkness. If we take time to look, we will see a myriad of opportunities, glittering in what seems to be darkness, to show the love of Christ to those around us. How will we ever recognize Jesus in his glory at the end of our waiting unless we recognize Emmanuel, God with us, here and now in the most ordinary moments of our “dark” lives.”
