Important Coronavirus Information
January 13, 2021
As part of our effort to prevent the spread of the virus, Benedictine-Bismarck has been offering regular coronavirus testing to our guests and associates. We offered coronavirus testing to our residents and employees and the most recent testing event resulted in all results being negative.
We continue to monitor all our guests and associates for signs and symptoms of the virus. As an extra precaution, we have suspended visits, all communal dining, and small group activities. We also remain in close communication with our local and state health officials to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps.
Please check our hotline – 701-712-7550 -for the latest COVID-19 update.
Infection Control Measures
Because our guests’ and associates’ health and wellness is our priority, Benedictine-Bismarck has implemented all recommended measures to prevent the spread of this virus on our campus. All our associates are following the latest infection control protocols from the CDC to protect the health and safety of our residents and themselves, including:
- Monitoring and screening residents daily for symptoms of respiratory illness, temperature and oxygen levels.
- Providing masks to all residents to wear when caregivers are in their room.
- Implementing socially distanced meal service and activities.
- Encouraging health care providers to use telehealth when possible.
At Benedictine Living Community-Bismarck, our priority is the health and wellness of our guests and associates. We know that the frail and elderly are especially susceptible to the coronavirus. That is why we have been doing all we can to prevent the spread of this virus.
